William K. Vincett, Jr., O.D.

Dr. Vincett Jr. is a third-generation optometrist specializing in advanced contact lens care and research.  His professional background includes performing more than 20 clinical studies for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on behalf of major contact lens manufacturers; instructing manufacturer sales forces for bifocal and soft contact lenses for astigmatism; and vocational teaching for optometric assistants.  He has written numerous articles published in national trade publications and newspapers, and frequently provides professional comment to local radio and television media regarding eye care issues. He lectures throughout the country and internationally on eye care topics, and is a consultant and innovator of Internet health care applications. Dr. Vincett Jr. also consults with Health South in Monroeville for victims of head injury and stroke. Another of Dr. Vincett's interests is helping athletes improve their sports performance. He runs the Vincett Sports Vision Institute of Pittsburgh. He is a member of Practice Management Associates – a select group of 15 progressive eye doctors from across the country who meet regularly to share practice improvement ideas, and to help develop new products for companies. Dr. Vincett, Jr. received his doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Optometry.

Robert E. Kaminski, O.D., F.A.A.O.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Kaminski has been providing comprehensive eye care to residents of the Pittsburgh area. This includes diabetic eye examinations, glaucoma, cataract co-management and contact lens services. He is a lifelong resident of Penn Hills and graduated from High School there. He also attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He was with the HealthAmerica HMO prior to joining Vincett Eye Care Associates. Doctor Kaminski is a member of many distinguished organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Fraternity. Throughout his career, Doctor Kaminski has lectured nationally on advancements in optometric diagnosis and therapy. He has special interests in eye diseases, glaucoma, dry eye and cataract co-management.

William K. Vincett, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Vincett specializes in pediatric vision care and vision therapy for learning difficulties, stroke and trauma rehabilitation, and motion sickness.  He is director and founder of the PAVE Program, one of the largest vision therapy practices in the country.  He has been a consultant to several school districts, and currently consults with HealthSouth.  He has authored two books on perceptual development and has lectured across the United States and the United Kingdom on visual development and practice management issues.  He received his doctorate from the Ohio State College of Optometry and is a graduate of the Gesell Institute of Child Development and Pathway School, School Consulting Program.

Robert Fruhlinger, O.D.

Dr. Fruhlinger has been an optometrist in private practice for more than 30 years and has been voted “Optometrist of the Year” by Gateway Publication readers. His professional background includes serving several years as school optometrist for the Oakmont School District, serving on the board of directors for the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society, and as secretary for the Vision Conservation Institute. He was named a Melvin Jones Fellow – the highest honor given by the Lions Club, for his leadership and service to the organization. Dr. Fruhlinger received his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
